A Legacy of Precision

My journey into woodworking began under the tutelage of my uncle.  As a master carpenter, he instilled in me a deep respect for the craft and the tools that shape it.  For many years, woodworking remained a cherished avocation—a creative sanctuary, while my primary focus was dedicated to a career as a civil engineer and the joys of raising my family.

It was long about the year 1989, that I could no longer keep that passion in check.  I then devoted every spare moment that I could muster and began working out of my cramped garage space.  There, I further honed my skills, and began to publicly exhibit my work.  It wasn’t long thereafter that I started to gain some national recognition.  This gave me the added impetous to offer my creations, for sale, to those who appreciated handcrafted quality wood furniture.  My background in engineering naturally merged with the artistry of wood.  It brought a unique structural logic to every piece I designed and built.

Now in retirement, I have the luxury of much more time.  This allows me the opportunity to fully pursue my craft –  creating stunning works of art.  I execute every joint, curve, and finish with the same rigor I once applied to large-scale engineering projects.  This attention to detail ensures that each piece is not only an artistic statement but a legacy that is built to last for generations.
